Windows Vista is officially supported for use with Blackboard Vista. However, the security features within it may be interfering with functionality of Blackboard Vista. We recommend trying an alternate browser, such as FireFox 2. This browser is available from the browser page of this wiki.

Note to Users with Linksys WRT54G Version 5 router

Users that are utilizing this router may not be able to reach Blackboard Vista through the my.commnet.edu portal. When users bypass the router by directly connecting their computer to the broadband modem, Blackboard Vista is accessible.

It seems there may be an issue with the firmware that is currently installed on the router. It has been found that by upgrading to the latest firmware version, Blackboard Vista can then be accessed through myCommNet. You may access the latest firmware at the following address: http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3411
